In 2022, the average export price for maps, atlases, topographical plans and hydrographic or similar charts, printed in the book form amounted to $2,916 per ton, with a decrease of -8.7% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.3%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when the average export price increased by 35% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $3,375 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to Australia ($3,167 per ton) and the UK ($2,777 per ton), while the average price for exports to Hong Kong SAR ($2,229 per ton) and the United States ($2,506 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hong Kong SAR (+4.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
