In 2022, the average export price for maps, atlases, topographical plans and hydrographic or similar charts, printed in the book form amounted to $35,640 per ton, which is down by -3.4% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, posted a strong expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when the average export price increased by 114%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $36,876 per ton in 2021, and then contracted slightly in the following year.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to Hong Kong SAR ($36,318 per ton) and India ($35,877 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($35,534 per ton) and China ($35,563 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Equatorial Guinea (+25.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
