The average export price for metals; palladium, unwrought or in powder forms stood at $67,055,247 per ton in 2022, waning by -13% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, posted strong growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when the average export price increased by 48%. The export price peaked at $77,115,707 per ton in 2021, and then fell in the following year.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to Germany ($74,448,765 per ton) and Italy ($68,938,639 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($61,881,075 per ton) and Hong Kong SAR ($63,532,248 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
