The average export price for metals; rhodium, unwrought or in powder forms stood at $140M per ton in April 2024, increasing by 4.4% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a pronounced shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 an increase of 19% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $241K per kg. From June 2023 to April 2024, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets. In April 2024, the highest price was recorded for prices to Hong Kong SAR ($146M per ton) and Germany ($141M per ton), while the average price for exports to the United States ($136M per ton) and the UK ($137M per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From April 2023 to April 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hong Kong SAR (+10.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
