In September 2023, the average import price for mollusc preparations; cuttle fish and squid, prepared or preserveds amounted to $4,644 per ton, surging by 8.9% against the previous month. Over the period from December 2022 to September 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2023 when the average import price increased by 39% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $5,926 per ton. From June 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
