In 2022, the average import price for mushrooms and truffles, other than of the genus "agaricus" amounted to $3,293 per ton, with a decrease of -13% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a pronounced expansion from June 2021 to November 2021: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +3.2% over the last five-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on November 2021 figures, export price for mushrooms and truffles, other than of the genus "agaricus" increased by +97.7% against September 2021 indices. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In November 2021, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($13,883 per ton), while the average price for exports to Belgium ($10,288 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2021 to November 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+1.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
