The average export price for mushrooms and truffles, other than of the genus "agaricus" stood at $6,719 per ton in November 2023, growing by 9.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in August 2023 when the average export price increased by 55% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum in November 2023.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($4,270 per ton), while the average price for exports to Romania ($2,289 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Slovakia (+1.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
