The average export price for newspapers, journals and periodicals appearing less frequently than four times a week stood at $2,774 per ton in April 2024, with a decrease of -71.5% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a slight downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2023 when the average export price increased by 139% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $9,727 per ton in March 2024, and then fell notably in the following month.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Norway ($10,477 per ton), while the average price for exports to Sweden ($2,298 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From April 2023 to April 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Denmark (+6.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
