In April 2024, the average export price for newspapers, journals and periodicals appearing less frequently than four times a week amounted to $3,509 per ton, declining by -3.7% against the previous month. In general, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in July 2023 an increase of 11% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $3,988 per ton in August 2023; however, from September 2023 to April 2024, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Belgium ($6,048 per ton), while the average price for exports to Switzerland ($595 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From April 2023 to April 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+5.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
