In November 2023, the average export price for nickel; plates, sheets, strip and foil, of nickel alloyses amounted to $40,628 per ton, reducing by -2.4% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in September 2023 an increase of 18% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $50,716 per ton. From October 2023 to November 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($60,663 per ton), while the average price for exports to Hong Kong SAR ($32,010 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From December 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Taiwan (Chinese) (+3.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
