In 2022, the average non-refractory clay constructional products export price amounted to $931 per ton, growing by 59% against the previous year. In 2022, the amount of non-refractory clay constructional products exported from South Africa plummeted to 418 tons, declining by -42.8% on the previous year's figure. Overall, exports saw a significant contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by 18% against the previous year.
