The average import price for nuts, edible; cashew nuts, shelled, fresh or drieds stood at $6,710 per ton in 2022, reducing by -2.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import price indicated a modest expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, import price for nuts, edible; cashew nuts, shelled, fresh or drieds increased by +3.4% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 30%. The import price peaked at $9,827 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
