The average import price for nuts, edible; macadamia, fresh or dried, shelleds stood at $11,229 per ton in 2022, jumping by 29% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a pronounced downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 47%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $14,169 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
