In January 2024, the average export price for nuts, edible; pistachios, fresh or dried, shelleds amounted to $14,555 per ton, picking up by 11% against the previous month. Over the period from January 2023 to January 2024, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2023 an increase of 33% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $16,183 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to January 2024, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Belgium ($22,803 per ton), while the average price for exports to Syrian Arab Republic ($3,208 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
