In October 2023, the average export price for offal, edible; of bovine animals, fresh or chilleds amounted to $3,770 per ton, reducing by -8.7% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2023 when the average export price increased by 31% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $5,363 per ton. From September 2023 to October 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Spain ($9,061 per ton), while the average price for exports to Denmark ($950 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Denmark (+2.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
