The average export price for offal, edible; of swine, (other than livers), frozen stood at $1,041 per ton in November 2023, remaining constant against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.0%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 23% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $1,282 per ton in July 2023; however, from August 2023 to November 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($3,657 per ton), while the average price for exports to Italy ($448 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Cote d'Ivoire (+4.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average import price for offal, edible; of swine, (other than livers), frozen stood at $1,887 per ton in October 2023, falling by -2% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated moderate growth from October 2022 to October 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.3% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on October 2023 figures, import price for offal, edible; of swine, (other than livers), frozen decreased by -17.9% against June 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 an increase of 26% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $2,300 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to October 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was France ($3,426 per ton), while the price for Romania ($467 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Slovenia (+25.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by 27%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 21K tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports of failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, exports of offal, edible; of swine, (other than livers), frozen contracted notably to $14M in 2022. Overall, exports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by 45% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $20M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports of remained at a lower figure.
