Overall, the export price posted a strong expansion. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Malaysia ($854 per ton) and Nepal ($806 per ton), while the average price for exports to Bangladesh ($788 per ton) and Indonesia ($792 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Philippines (+33.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Overall, the import price recorded a deep reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 when the average import price increased by 158% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $2,057 per ton. From April 2023 to November 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
