In 2022, the average export price for onions, shallots, garlic, leeks and other alliaceous vegetables; fresh or chilleds amounted to $801 per ton, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Guatemala ($1,349 per ton), while the average price for exports to the United States stood at $800 per ton.
