In November 2023, the average export price for onions, shallots, garlic, leeks and other alliaceous vegetables; fresh or chilleds amounted to $259 per ton, shrinking by -30.5% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a slight setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in January 2023 an increase of 405% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $1,523 per ton. From February 2023 to November 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Russia ($600 per ton), while the average price for exports to Kyrgyzstan ($140 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Afghanistan (+20.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

From 2017 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Kazakhstan (+14.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
