In 2022, the average import price for paper, cigarette; in rolls of a width not exceeding 5cms amounted to $4,536 per ton, dropping by -8.7% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed resilient growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 an increase of 129%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $5,246 per ton. From 2019 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
