The average export price for paper, cigarette; in the form of booklets or tubeses stood at $2,252 per ton in January 2024, with an increase of 4.7% against the previous month. Over the last ten-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.8%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2023 when the average export price increased by 13% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2,385 per ton. From September 2023 to January 2024, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Brazil.

From March 2023 to January 2024, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Brazil amounted to +1.2% per month.
