In January 2024, the average export price for pepper of the genus piper, neither crushed nor ground amounted to $4,718 per ton, falling by -2.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in March 2023 when the average export price increased by 14% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $5,360 per ton. From April 2023 to January 2024, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
