The average import price for petroleum coke; (not calcined), obtained from bituminous mineralses stood at $304 per ton in November 2023, rising by 39% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 an increase of 79% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $438 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to November 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
