The average import price for petroleum resins, coumarone, indene or coumarone-indene resins and polyterpenes; in primary formses stood at $1,797 per ton in 2021, surging by 5.6% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a pronounced decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 51% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $2,311 per ton. From 2018 to 2021, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($2,762 per ton), while the price for Taiwan (Chinese) ($1,273 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
