In 2022, the average export price for photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds amounted to $11 per square meter, surging by 18% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate buoyant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 96%. The export price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Ireland ($16 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Norway ($1 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Ireland (+20.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 an increase of 38% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $2.3 per square meter in 2021, and then contracted in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($4.1 per square meter), while the price for Germany ($1.3 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
