The average import price for photographic plates, film, paper, paperboard and textiles, exposed but not developeds stood at $0.7 per square meter in 2022, increasing by 5.3% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 an increase of 209%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $4.7 per square meter in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Japan ($4.3 per square meter), while the price for South Korea ($0.1 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Japan (+5.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
