In November 2023, the average import price for photographic plates, film, paper, paperboard and textiles, exposed but not developeds amounted to $1.6 per square meter, dropping by -6.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2023 an increase of 42% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $1.9 per square meter in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to November 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices from Belgium ($2.2 per square meter) and Italy ($1.8 per square meter), while the price for Germany ($1.5 per square meter) and Spain ($1.6 per square meter) were amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+2.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for photographic plates, film, paper, paperboard and textiles, exposed but not developeds stood at $1.7 per square meter in 2022, leveling off at the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when the average export price increased by 24% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2.3 per square meter. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Cabo Verde ($2.1 per square meter), while the average price for exports to France ($1.3 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+2.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
