The average export price for pitch; obtained from coal tar or from other mineral tarses stood at $336 per ton in 2022, declining by -1.8% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a abrupt decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when the average export price increased by 81%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $1,054 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
