In August 2022, the average import price for pitch; obtained from coal tar or from other mineral tarses amounted to $1,572 per ton, with an increase of 29% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated a resilient increase from August 2021 to August 2022: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +5.4% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
