The average export price for pitch; obtained from coal tar or from other mineral tarses stood at $1,166 per ton in December 2022, remaining stable against the previous month. In general, the export price saw mild growth. The export price peaked at $3,386 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to December 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Qatar.
