In November 2023, the average import price for plants, live; bulbs, tubers, tuberous roots, corms, crowns and rhizomes, dormants amounted to $264 per thousand units, growing by 54% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a pronounced curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2023 when the average import price increased by 124% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $710 per thousand units in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to November 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($688 per thousand units), while the price for the Netherlands stood at $236 per thousand units.

From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+3.2%).
