In 2022, the average export price for poultry; live, geese, weighing not more than 185g meat amounted to less than $0.1 per unit, almost unchanged from the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a pronounced decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 70%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $4.7 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when exports increased by 172% against the previous year. The exports peaked at 46K units in 2021, and then reduced sharply in the following year.

In value terms, exports of poultry; live, geese, weighing not more than 185g meat shrank sharply to $94K in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 162% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports of hit record highs at $154K in 2021, and then reduced notably in the following year.
