In June 2023, the average export price for printed matter in single sheets, whether or not folded amounted to $4,040 per ton, reducing by -14.7% against the previous month. In general, export price indicated modest growth from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.5% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, printed matter in single sheets export price increased by +26.6% against March 2023 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2023 an increase of 38% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $4,737 per ton, and then contracted in the following month.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Italy ($15,937 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($1,346 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+9.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a pronounced shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 56% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $14,828 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
