The average export price for processed cheese (excluding grated or powdered) stood at $5,103 per ton in November 2023, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $5,625 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to November 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Jamaica ($7,390 per ton), while the average price for exports to Australia ($4,112 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Chile (+1.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average import price for processed cheese (excluding grated or powdered) stood at $6,069 per ton in November 2023, falling by -7.2% against the previous month.
