In December 2021, the average import price for propylene, other olefin polymers; propylene copolymers in primary formses amounted to $1,737 per ton, picking up by 11% against the previous month. Over the period from January 2021 to December 2021, it increased at an average monthly rate of +4.0%. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2021 when the average import price increased by 18% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $1,893 per ton in May 2021; however, from June 2021 to December 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

From January 2021 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (+5.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
