In March 2024, the average import price for pulps of other fibrous cellulosic materials amounted to $2,203 per ton, approximately mirroring the previous month. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in May 2023 an increase of 21% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $3,008 per ton in August 2023; however, from September 2023 to March 2024, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In March 2024, the country with the highest price was Uzbekistan ($2,760 per ton), while the price for China ($2,050 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2023 to March 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+9.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $3,630 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
