In December 2023, the average export price for quaternary ammonium salts and hydroxides; lecithins and other phosphoaminolipidses amounted to $1,785 per ton, shrinking by -7.7% against the previous month. In general, the export price saw a perceptible curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in July 2023 when the average export price increased by 8.7% month-to-month. Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United States ($7,979 per ton), while the average price for exports to Iraq ($710 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Iraq (+6.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
