Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a perceptible downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2023 when the average export price increased by 31% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $5,607 per ton in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to November 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($10,290 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands stood at $1,960 per ton.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (+4.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In general, import price indicated perceptible growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.7% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
