Price for Refrigerating or Freezing Equipment; Parts Thereof, Other than Furniture in Ukraine (CIF) - 2023
The average import price for refrigerating or freezing equipment; parts thereof, other than furniture stood at $43.2 per unit in December 2023, rising by 5.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 an increase of 45% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $61.5 per unit. From March 2023 to December 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2023, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($73.5 per unit), while the price for China ($27.2 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+7.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average export price for refrigerating or freezing equipment; parts thereof, other than furniture amounted to $32 per unit, picking up by 26% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated a pronounced increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
