Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 an increase of 4.2% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $1,842 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to December 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2023, the country with the highest price was Thailand ($1,811 per ton), while the price for Vietnam amounted to $1,630 per ton.
From January 2023 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Vietnam (+0.1%).

In 2022, the average export price for rubber; natural (excluding latex), in smoked sheetses amounted to $2,304 per ton, waning by -17.3% against the previous year.
