Price for Rubber Thread and Cord; Textile Covered in China (FOB) - 2024

The average export price for rubber thread and cord; textile covereds stood at $5,489 per ton in May 2024, waning by -4.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2024 when the average export price increased by 20% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $6,992 per ton. From April 2024 to May 2024, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($6,878 per ton), while the average price for exports to Uzbekistan ($2,511 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From May 2023 to May 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (+0.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
