The average import price for rubber; vulcanised, conveyor belts or belting, reinforced only with textile materialses stood at $4,240 per ton in November 2023, surging by 2.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a slight descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 when the average import price increased by 42% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $6,304 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to November 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Sweden ($12,446 per ton), while the price for China ($1,614 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Hungary (-0.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

Overall, total imports indicated a strong expansion from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +16.9% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +59.7% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 45%. Over the period under review, imports of reached the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.
