The average import price for rubber; vulcanised (other than hard rubber), gloves other than surgical gloveses stood at $5,953 per ton in 2022, waning by -8.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import price indicated notable growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, import price for rubber; vulcanised (other than hard rubber), gloves other than surgical gloveses increased by +112.5% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 44%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $6,521 per ton, and then reduced in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Austria ($10,633 per ton), while the price for the United Arab Emirates ($1,983 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

The export price peaked at $14,091 per ton in 2021, and then shrank sharply in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Burundi ($22,101 per ton), while the average price for exports to Malaysia ($4,408 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Burundi (+13.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, imports recorded a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 155% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $3.7M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports of remained at a somewhat lower figure.
