As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the countries with the highest prices were Slovakia ($4,786 per ton) and Latvia ($4,762 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($3,822 per ton) and Romania ($3,872 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 50%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $83M, and then dropped modestly in the following year.
