In 2022, the average smoked fish, incl. fillets import price amounted to $367 per ton, surging by 93% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a precipitous curtailment. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $5,462 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
