The average import price for spices; nutmeg, crushed or ground stood at $11,947 per ton in 2022, jumping by 51% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price saw a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when the average import price increased by 175% against the previous year. The import price peaked in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the near future.
