The average import price for steel, alloy stood at $1,180 per ton in December 2021, surging by 2.3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated a remarkable increase from January 2021 to December 2021: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +5.5% over the last eleven-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
