The average steel, alloy; semi-finished products export price stood at $762 per ton in September 2023, falling by -7.6% against the previous month. Overall, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 when the average export price increased by 13% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $909 per ton. From June 2023 to September 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($781 per ton), while the average price for exports to Canada totaled $620 per ton.

From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Canada (-0.3%).
