Overall, the import price faced a abrupt slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 156% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $25,558 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to September 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the UK ($61,627 per ton), while the price for Italy ($3,878 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
