The average export price for steel, stainless; cold-drawn or cold-rolled, tubes and pipes of circular cross-sectia stood at $4,942 per ton in August 2023, approximately mirroring the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a noticeable setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2023 an increase of 1.4% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $6,324 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to August 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($6,625 per ton), while the average price for exports to Vietnam ($3,212 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
